Ivy's Girl was created having been inspired by my beloved grandma Ivy Dearlove. She was an accomplished and well loved upholsterer, specialising in replacement chair covers and curtains. She worked for over 60 years across the United Kingdom and the United States: Within family homes, for many celebrities of yesteryear and stately homes, such as Hampton Court Palace. I have taken the baton to ensure that her legacy continues.
Over the years I have reupholstered many pieces of furniture. I have been trained by mastercraftsmen in upholstery and chair restoration and I am an AMUSF qualified
upholsterer.
Traditional upholstery techniques and principles remain, with modern and vintage chairs catered for, as well as my own projects thrown into the mix.
